Some Recent Wallpaper Installations On the Sunshine Coast

The below wallpaper is actually a wall mural from Rebel Walls. They have wonderful photographic murals that look spectacular on any wall. This particular mural is called Apple Blossom and looks very contemporary in it’s black and white version. The great thing about Rebel Walls is that you can order pre existing sizes or get any design custom made to your wall size if needed.
The below wallpaper is being used to create a nice backdrop for a home business.

Below are two more murals but this time they are for the kids. The first one was for a little girl’s bedroom and of course is the ever popular Little Mermaid. The other is for a boy’s bedroom and is a world map mural, a little more sophisticated but one that won’t be outgrown.

The below wallpaper was installed to the right of an entry and made a real statement as it was a large blank wall that became a major feature. The wallpaper is absolutely stunning which is impossible to see in the photo so we have included a closeup so you can see the detail. It is from Arte International and is actually an exclusively hand made wallcovering made from natural plant fibres such as hyacinth and banana leaves.

Neutral coloured wallcoverings with texture and just a hint of metallics are very on trend right now. We are seeing quite a lot of them being used as a background for a tv wall or shelving. The below wallpaper was used for that purpose and to cover a partitioning wall. It’s from Villa Nova and called Chandbali design in the colour Otter.
We have again included a closeup as photos don’t do justice to these textured wallpapers. You can see the the beautiful texture here and because it’s a vinyl wallcovering it will be hard wearing and very easy to keep clean.

Wallpaper is the perfect way to highlight an area or to make a feature out of a particular wall. We show an example of this below where a plain white wall has been wallpapered with a Cole & Son wallpaper called Woods. Featuring long slender trunks, this wallpaper elongates the wall and makes it appear tall, reaching to the top of the roof where a natural skylight is.

We do many bedroom wallpaper installations. Feature walls are very popular in bedrooms, we find people start with a feature wall in the bedroom and are so impressed with the results that they soon have us back to wallpaper the living areas and even powder rooms. What tropical coastal paradise wouldn’t want an array of pink flamingos on their walls. This vinyl wallpaper is from Albany and can be purchased from WallpaperDirect. It’s a bright, happy wallpaper that has a lovely texture to it. Please see our flamingo wallpaper post for more information on this gorgeous wallpaper and see it being used in various situations. It was used in the 2014 Big Brother House.

The below wallpaper would be the perfect wallpaper installation in any Sunshine Coast apartment although this particular job was done on the Gold Coast.
